Flat Bottom Silo

Flat-bottom silos are designed for the long-term storage of cereals and other granular products. The structure is made of corrugated sheet metal panels and external reinforcement uprights, using structural steel grade FE S350GD with a minimum zinc coating of Z450 – Z600 g/m², or alternatively, ZINCMAGNESIUM. The special GEOMET bolting system ensures long-lasting durability even in highly polluted environments. The roof, made up of trapezoidal steel segments with a 31° slope, is bolted onto stiffening ribs and equipped with an inspection hatch and a blue fiberglass cap. The structures are calculated in compliance with DIN 1055 standards, and for seismic areas, special dimensioning is carried out according to legal regulations.
