Conical Bottom Silo

Conical-bottom silos are ideal for ensuring complete material discharge thanks to the sloped bottom design. The structure consists of a cylindrical body made of corrugated or smooth steel panels with external reinforcement uprights, using structural steel FE S350GD with a minimum zinc coating of Z450 – Z600 g/m², or alternatively ZINCMAGNESIUM, and includes an inspection hatch. The special protected bolting system ensures long-lasting material durability, even in environments with high pollution levels. Sealing is achieved using thermoplastic material, and the bolting system is equipped with PVC washers. The roof is composed of trapezoidal steel segments, bolted onto stiffening ribs, with a 31° slope, ensuring strength and load capacity over time. It includes an inspection hatch and a blue fiberglass cap. Structural calculations are performed in accordance with DIN 1055 standards, and for seismic zones, special dimensioning is carried out based on current regulations.

Complete and efficient discharge

Thanks to the conical bottom slope, the silo is self-cleaning and does not require rotary extractors for the internal product. This facilitates fast and thorough emptying of the material, minimizes residues, and optimizes unloading times.

Durability and long-term resistance

The FE S350GD galvanized steel structure and bolting with special Geomet protection ensure long operational life, even in industrial environments with high pollution levels, ensuring reliability over time.

The silo is designed according to DIN 1055 standards, with special structural calculations for seismic areas, thus ensuring maximum safety and compliance with local laws, even in high seismic risk conditions.
