Bulk Load-out Silo
Bulk load-out silos are designed to optimize filling and emptying operations in contexts where reduced loading times are essential, such as collection centers, logistics terminals, or facilities with high handling frequency. The structure consists of a cylindrical body formed by corrugated or smooth galvanized structural steel rings, with a minimum zinc coating of Z450 – Z600 g/m², or alternatively, ZINCMAGNESIUM. External reinforcement uprights are assembled with high-strength bolts treated with the GEOMET coating process. The sealing between the rings is ensured by plastic gaskets that maintain their waterproofing properties over time. The roof is made of trapezoidal corrugated galvanized steel elements, designed to support snow loads and accommodate loading and control structures. Roof slopes vary from 25° to 30°, depending on the silo diameter. A central closing dome is installed at the top of the roof, and an inspection hatch is located at its lower section. The conical bottom, depending on the type of stored product, may have slopes of 35°, 45°, or 60°.
