Rotating pre-cleaner

Rotary drum pre-cleaner with screens for the processing and cleaning of cereals, built with galvanized steel sheet and equipped with interchangeable perforated high-strength steel mantles. The machine is designed for the preliminary removal of foreign materials such as stalk residues, cobs, and stones present in the incoming product. The rotating drum performs a refining cleaning function, ensuring the accurate separation of light impurities (such as dust, plant fragments, and low-density foreign bodies) found in cereals like wheat, corn, oats, barley, rye, and various seeds. At the same time, it also classifies and separates particle sizes based on the screen hole diameter. The combined action of rotation and mechanical selection through screens enables high cleaning efficiency, improving the quality of the product destined for subsequent processing or storage phases. The pre-cleaner is also equipped with a brush to keep the screens clean at all times.
