Ocrim and I.I.S. “Janello Torriani”: a Project that Trains the Professionals of the Future

The training project launched by Ocrim in January 2024 in collaboration with the “Janello Torriani” Higher Education Institute in Cremona has gained momentum again this year with new meetings between students and the Ocrim team, strengthening the dialogue between the local educational system and the territory’s productive entities.

Created under the guidance of Eng. Simone Pedrini, head of “Ocrim’s machine design office, the program continued in 2025 under the coordination of Eng.” Daniele Rossini, Ocrim machine designer, who organized four meetings between March and April. Discussion sessions and technical lessons involved 116 students from fourth and fifth grade classes, offering them a “concrete opportunity to explore the industrial world” up close.

During the meetings, the students were able to learn about the various professional roles within the company: from technical positions – such as mechanical and electrical designer – to operational ones, like maintenance technicians and testing specialists, up to managerial figures, including project managers and department heads.

Ocrim thus confirms itself as a reference point in training the professionals of the future, offering young people a practical and concrete vision of the skills required today in the industrial sector. The project not only facilitates entry into the working world, but also promotes a vital synergy between school and business, for a smoother and more informed transition.
