international Labour Day – On May 1st, two of our colleagues received one of the most prestigious awards in Italy: the Star of Merit for Labour, conferred by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.

The ceremony was held at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan in the presence of civil and military authorities and all the prefects of Lombardy. It was an emotional and participatory moment that celebrated the dedication and value of work through the example of those who, every day, contribute with skill, perseverance and passion.

Irene Rota and Daniele Mattarozzi were awarded the title of “Maestri del Lavoro” (Masters of Labour), accompanied by the Provincial Consulate of Cremona and Brescia. This is a significant milestone, recognizing years of commitment and professional growth.

Daniele Mattarozzi began his career in 1996 as a worker in the assembly department. He later moved to the carpentry division, where he distinguished himself through innovation and organizational skills. Today, he is the head of the workshop at the historic Via Massarotti site, which he has transformed into a technologically advanced center by introducing new tools, equipment, and robotic solutions.

Irene Rota joined the company in 2003 as a staff member in the Human Resources Office. Thanks to her determination, listening skills, and strong sense of responsibility, she became head of the department in 2017. She has since reorganized processes, automated activities, and built a collaborative relationship with employees.

The title of “Maestro del Lavoro” is awarded to those who, after at least 25 years of service, have distinguished themselves for professional and moral merits, innovative contributions, or commitment to training the next generation.

Irene and Daniele embody these values in a concrete way. We extend to them our deepest thanks and warmest congratulations.
