For many years, Ocrim has been active in Saudi Arabia in the development of high-capacity grain storage facilities, contributing to the growth of modern, reliable infrastructure across the country.
In this strategically important market, we design and deliver storage systems engineered to ensure operational efficiency, advanced process automation and long-term reliability. A notable example of this commitment is the Yanbu grain storage facility, located in the Red Sea port area: a 120,000-ton plant designed to fully automate the entire process, from wheat intake directly from vessels to storage in silos and subsequent distribution to milling companies.

Our presence in the country is also based on a historic collaboration with Haif Company, a partner with whom we have shared numerous strategic projects over time for GFSA – General Food Security Authority, one of the main national institutions for food product supply in Saudi Arabia. Among the shared experiences are the projects in Hail, Al Jouf, Jazan, Medina and Yanbu, which have helped consolidate a relationship based on mutual trust, complementary expertise and a shared vision oriented towards innovation.
Continuing along this path, Ocrim is currently involved in new grain storage projects in the country. Among them is the 120,000-ton facility at the port of Dhiba, which is now in the delivery phase and approaching the start of erection activities. For this project, Ocrim is supplying all electromechanical equipment and automation systems, aimed at optimizing grain intake operations and the preservation processes of imported wheat, while the Haif Group is responsible for the civil works.
These projects represent key milestones in our structured and long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia, further reinforcing Ocrim’s role as a trusted technology partner for future-oriented grain storage solutions.
