Ocrim is proud to announce its support for a valuable solidarity event in partnership with I Aid Madagascar, a non-profit, non-governmental organisation committed to improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable communities in Madagascar. Our donation will contribute to an important school project in the village of Ambohibory, with the aim of providing local students with a safer and more appropriate environment for their education.

About I Aid Madagascar
I Aid Madagascar Onlus – Italian non-profit organisation is a non-profit organisation based in Italy, set up to respond to the needs of the poorest people in Madagascar. The association works closely with local communities, implementing sustainable development projects in key areas, such as education, health, and food self-sufficiency. Thanks to their commitment, every day many families receive the support they need to build a better future for their children. Find out more about the association at www.iaidmadagascar.org.
Our project for the village of Ambohibory
Ocrim’s contribution will go towards a project to renovate a school in the village of Ambohibory, providing adequate space for students and school staff. This is a project for the general renovation of the existing school building and the construction of an annexed office for the school’s headmaster. The first step of the project involves the complete renovation of the two existing classrooms. The work will include reinforcing the foundations and walls, repairing the roofs and building a covered veranda to protect the premises. A brick office for the management will be built next to the building. The work will include the brick and concrete construction of the entire structure, from the foundations to the roof, and the installation of fixtures. Inside, both rooms will be supplied with all the necessary furnishings for teaching and running classes regularly: blackboards, cupboards, desks and chairs for the students.
A shared commitment for the future
At Ocrim, we firmly believe that education is the key to a better future. By supporting this project, we not only help to ensure a safer and more functional school environment, but we also contribute to ensure the children and families of Ambohibory can exercise their right to education. Special thanks go to I Aid Madagascar and its founder, Roberto Ricci, for the extraordinary work they do every day and for giving us the opportunity to make a difference. This is just one small step towards a more just and inclusive world.
Let’s continue to build the future, together.
