Ocrim has entered a strategic partnership with Meyer Italy, the Italian branch office of Meyer Corp, a global leader in optical sorters. Since the technology of these machines is constantly evolving, Ocrim has chosen one of the world’s largest manufacturers—with an impressive track record of installations—to provide increasingly advanced and targeted solutions for the inspection of cereals and other raw materials.
Meyer sorters combine advanced technology with precision and can be seamlessly integrated into Ocrim plants to ensure high-quality finished products. Designed to detect and remove foreign bodies and defects related to color, shape, and size, they deliver excellent performance both in the food sector—such as cereals and pulses of various types—and beyond, also thanks to UHD (Ultra High Definition) and UV (ultraviolet light) technologies.
The flexibility and high performance of Meyer sorters, when integrated into Ocrim cleaning systems, are further enhanced by AI Deep Learning technology, which enables intelligent and adaptive quality control, optimizing both safety and product quality.
As a natural evolution of this collaboration, Ocrim has acquired a minority stake in Meyer Italy, thereby consolidating its commitment to technological innovation and advanced product sorting. This investment allows us to have machines specifically dedicated to our plants, further strengthening food safety standards within our production processes.
This partnership reinforces Ocrim’s commitment to delivering solutions that look to the future of the milling sector, combining technology, expertise, and sustainability.
