PROCESS VERTICALIZATION: THE NEW HEAT TREATMENT FURNACE

At our Porto Canale facility in Cremona, a large, fully automatic inert atmosphere heat treatment furnace has been installed for the thermal processing of welded steel structures. This installation strengthens our industrial verticalization strategy, consolidating internally the processes that ensure the quality and reliability of our machines.
The furnace performs programmed thermal cycles with precise control of process parameters. Its inert gas chamber, equipped with an extractable carriage with automatic movement, enables stress relief of welds, normalizing, and other non-oxidizing treatments.
This solution allows us to manage internally the heat treatment of rollermill bases, plansifter frames, and other welded components, optimizing workflow organization, enhancing safety during handling, and improving production flexibility.
