On 1 May, at the Auditorium of the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, the ceremony for the awarding of the Stars of Merit for Labour took place. This is the highest honour conferred by the Italian Republic on individuals who, throughout their professional lives, have distinguished themselves through commitment, integrity and human values.
Among this year’s recipients were Marco Augusto Magistrati and Stefano Mazzini—two professionals with different career paths who have, over time, made a tangible and lasting contribution to the life of Ocrim.

Marco Augusto Magistrati
Marco Augusto Magistrati joined Ocrim in 1986 and has built a long and solid career within the Work Planning Office, which he now leads. Over the years, he has become a benchmark for expertise, reliability and operational vision.
His ability to support the evolution of company processes, combined with a consistently respectful and collaborative approach, has helped strengthen work organisation and enhance the value of people. Throughout his career, his contribution has ensured a strong continuity between technical competence, attention to relationships and a deep sense of responsibility towards the company.
The Star of Merit for Labour recognises a commitment built day by day—defined by dedication, balance and constant care for colleagues and the organisation.

Stefano Mazzini
Stefano Mazzini joined Ocrim in 1991. His professional journey has been marked by steady growth and a strong sense of responsibility. He currently serves as Director of Sales, Communication & Marketing.
Over the years, he has held key roles in both commercial and managerial areas, contributing to the company’s development on national and international markets alike.
Beyond his professional expertise, the recognition also highlights his passion for what he does—and continues to learn every day—his leadership skills, his willingness to share knowledge and values, and the commitment he demonstrated even during particularly challenging times, such as the Covid‑19 emergency, when he chaired the Internal Risk Mitigation Committee.

The Stars of Merit for Labour awarded to Marco and Stefano represent an important milestone in their professional journeys and, at the same time, reflect the values that have always guided Ocrim: expertise, responsibility, respect and a genuine passion for work.
Becoming a Master of Labour also means looking forward—sharing experience, supporting younger generations and passing on the values that give meaning to daily work.
In this way, work remains alive: open, evolving and rooted in people, creating the conditions for others, in the future, to follow the same path of growth and recognition.
