WHEAT, FLOUR AND… 2025: TURIN’S WELCOME, UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS

After last year’s edition in Cremona, Wheat, Flour and… 2025 brought us to Turin, a city that amazes with its elegance, energy, and blend of history and modern vision. From September 19 to 21, professionals, experts, and enthusiasts from the milling and agri-food sectors came together for three days of innovation, dialogue, and exchange. Guests were welcomed with an elegant aperitif dinner at two of the city’s iconic locations: Caffè Platti 1875, a historic venue frequented by generations of intellectuals and entrepreneurs, and Gerla Palestro 1927, the latest opening from the Gerla1927 group, which combines tradition with a contemporary approach to gastronomy. These moments of conviviality marked the start of a special edition, also celebrating Ocrim’s 80th anniversary.

Closing Sunday turned professional exploration into a cultural journey. Guests strolled through Turin, visiting Teatro Regio, Lux Cinema, and the famous Caffè Baratti, before exploring the city’s iconic squares and monuments — from Piazza San Carlo to Piazza Castello, including the Chapel of the Holy Shroud — and concluded with a lunch of local specialties and a visit to the Palazzo Reale (Royal Palace).

These were days to remember: the enthusiasm, energy, and warm participation of all guests created a unique atmosphere and were the true driving force behind the event’s success. Every smile and conversation reinforced the value of this experience, highlighting how dialogue and direct exchange are at the heart of Wheat, Flour and….
