History

Innovation, training and internationalisation. Always.

Ocrim was founded in 1945 in Cremona by Guido Grassi, who was awarded the honour Cavaliere del Lavoro. Since its inception, the company has stood out for its innovation, training and internationalisation in the global milling industry. In 1950, it introduced the advanced ‘Superior’ plant at the International Fair of Padua. Fifteen years later, it inaugurated the first International Milling Technology School. In 1982, it completed the first ‘turnkey’ plant in Saudi Arabia. Since 2008, Ocrim has been led by the Antolini family, marking the beginning of a new era of growth and strategic renewal, combining tradition and innovation. Through acquisitions and synergies, the company has built a true Made-in-Italy agri-food supply chain that serves as a global benchmark.

History

A family business that speaks to the world

Engaged for generations in the agribusiness sector, the Antolini family joined OCRIM with Paglierani Costruzioni, a company owned by their father Primo Antolini. In 2008, it acquired control of Ocrim, l eventually becoming its sole shareholder. Sergio and Alberto became chairman and managing director “chief executive officer” respectively. Thanks to the leadership and foresight of the new management, Ocrim has become an international leader in the construction of customised milling plants, designed and manufactured in Italy and then assembled worldwide.

Our history in the logo

50's

50’s

In the 1950s, Ocrim had an elegant, black, italic logo, embodying dynamism and strength. This style was also used for the Superior plant logo.

80's

80’s

In the 1980s, with the evolution of Superior into the compact MCA milling unit, Ocrim adopted a more modern logo, featuring bold, uppercase lettering that symbolised engineering progress. And we choose the red, which is the colour of the city of Cremona.
