School

For 60 years we have been training millers and technicians of the future

Founded in 1965, Ocrim’s Milling Technology School is a cornerstone of our commitment to education. It offers theoretical and practical courses, continually updated, to train millers and future technicians specialising in the management of milling plants. With a school mill boasting a capacity of 24 T/D, a cutting-edge chemistry lab, and a fully operational milling centre (Milling Hub), we provide comprehensive 360-degree training in the art of milling. This enables our international students to complement their theoretical learning with hands-on practical training on-site.

The Higher Education Academy

The Higher Education Academy

The Milling Hub, located at the Porto Canale in Cremona, is the cutting-edge milling centre created from the collaboration between Bonifiche Ferraresi and Ocrim in 2018 and trialled in 2021. It has become a testing ground for students enrolled in our milling courses. This is also where our specialised training courses are held for professionals already working in the milling sector, offering high-level education on seed knowledge, the processing of cereals and legumes, and the marketing of finished products.

The research centre and campus

The research centre and campus

Located in the province of Ferrara, the University Campus of Jolanda di Savoia is a futuristic research hub created by Bonifiche Ferraresi and Ocrim. It offers advanced training courses in Agriculture 4.0 and a master’s in agricultural engineering within a complex featuring a state-of-the-art auditorium and a mill. Alongside classroom education, the campus provides networking opportunities on topics related to agri-food and new technologies, involving the economic and political sectors, thanks to the collaboration with institutional bodies, the universities of Parma, Bologna and Florence, and the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan.
