In Italy, we can boast a complete supply chain in the world of grains and derived products.
A network of companies that combine experience and expertise to support the business of various agri-food and industrial food enterprises.
Ingnuity, possibilities and collaborations in the world.
On one of the walls of our headquarters in Via Massarotti, we have written a part of a speech by Enrico Mattei (1906-1962) – Italian entrepreneur, politician and public leader – taken from a RAI interview about his meeting with a representative of the major oil companies of the time. This thought of his well sums up the business development plans of our industry, as Mattei, on that occasion, outlined a future for the country that is inseparable from ingenuity, as “it is seeing possibilities where others do not see any”, and laid the foundations for economic collaborations with countries that were developing at the time, outside the logic of resource exploitation.
“I was called in to establish a collaborative relationship, but all the collaboration of this illustrious boss was about Italy. And that is to keep prices up so everyone earns more, just the opposite of what I have to do, who am a member of a state company. So I told him: in Italy, you know, I think you have finished making your own policy. From now on we will do it. We had other topics to discuss, but I took out my pencil, erased them and told him: I have the impression that we have nothing more to say to each other, but you will remember today’s conversation for the rest of your life. Because we are poor… We need… We need to work…”
Our supply chain

From the supply chain comes higher education
The collaboration between the various companies in the supply chain, institutional bodies and universities has led to the creation of a true centre of excellence dedicated to agriculture, milling and agri-food market trends. It is a campus in the province of Ferrara, built in collaboration with Bonifiche Ferraresi, featuring a research centre, an auditorium and fields for precision agriculture. In addition to this, there are the Milling Hub Masterclasses, born from the synergy between OCRIM and MH. These are training programmes offered by O|School with training and field experience in a mill, Milling hub.
