Screw Conveyor
This type of screw conveyor allows for material transport by drag, using a screw that, due to its specific configuration, moves the product from the inlet to the outlet point. At the outlet, a downstream conveyor can be connected to carry the product to the desired processing or storage area. The machine features a modular system composed of a head, a foot, and a variable number of intermediate tubes that together form the required system length. The head is made of heavy-gauge steel sheet and includes a gear motor. The intermediate sections housing the screw are modular and are bolted together using flanged connections. The system is equipped with inspection hatches and bolted access panels for maintenance. Specifically, this type of screw conveyor is installed beneath silos in purpose-built concrete troughs. Through discharge openings located at the base of the silo, the material is funneled into the screw conveyor, which then transports it toward the outlet. All screw conveyors are designed in accordance with current regulations and standards, and are supplied with the required technical documentation.
