{"id":8964,"date":"2024-10-16T10:15:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-16T08:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ai-lati.com\/?p=8964"},"modified":"2025-07-02T08:31:18","modified_gmt":"2025-07-02T06:31:18","slug":"progeo-molini-the-product-shipping-system-has-been-enhanced","status":"publish","type":"ailati","link":"https:\/\/www.ocrim.com\/en\/ailati\/progeo-molini-the-product-shipping-system-has-been-enhanced\/","title":{"rendered":"PROGEO MOLINI: THE PRODUCT SHIPPING SYSTEM HAS BEEN ENHANCED"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ganaceto, Modena &#8211; The new demands of the Italian <strong>milling industry market<\/strong>, the mission aimed at sustainability, and the need to reduce the cost per kilo of flour have prompted <strong>Progeo Molini<\/strong> &#8211; an agricultural cooperative based in Emilia Romagna &#8211; to invest in the construction of a <strong>new bulk flour stocking and shipping silo for daily delivery <\/strong>(five to ten tanks per day).\u00a0\u00a0 To be precise, this is a <strong>\u201cfast\u201d bulk load and delivery system<\/strong> for the direct conveyance of finished products on trucks with the aim of serving the largest number of bulk tanks for both single- and multi-product products, thus <strong>supplying small, medium and large businesses <\/strong>with large quantities of product in bulk. The Modena-based company has once again chosen <strong>Ocrim<\/strong> to implement its development plan, which includes this <strong>state-of-the-art silo <\/strong>that has recently been tested. On this occasion, Ocrim supplied a true <strong>\u201cturnkey\u201d plant,<\/strong> following every stage of the project, from the civil works, to the installation of the equipment, to the development of technological solutions for a <strong>smarter management of the system.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ocrim.com\/app\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Progetto-senza-titolo-51-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8961\" style=\"width:462px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>The silo serves a mill that processes soft wheat <\/strong>&#8211; also developed and modernised by Ocrim in 1980 and 1991 respectively &#8211; for the production of <strong>different types of flour.<\/strong> It is a system with twelve cells, of which four are large (30 T each) for single-product tanks and eight are small\/medium-sized (8 T each) for multi-product tanks. The cells are characterised by a high-speed fluidised unloading device and an individual suction system to prevent contamination between the different flour qualities and a level for the control of the quantities of flour contained in them. <strong>The installation is completely independent of the existing plant<\/strong> as it is equipped with a compressed air production station for the automatic drives and electrical and automation systems. There is also a weigher bridge to accurately measure the product loaded; multiple loading points, thus saving time when loading tankers; and a pressurised pneumatic system to connect the new section to the existing one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On testing day, the management of Progeo said: <em>\u201cOcrim provided us with the <strong>most environmentally friendly and sustainable method <\/strong>possible of delivering the final product to our customers.
