The sixth form <strong>students<\/strong> had the opportunity to meet the engineer <strong>Simone Pedrini<\/strong>, head of Ocrim\u2019s equipment engineering design department, to be introduced to the industrial sector in the city of Cremona and gain a more concrete view of the company\u2019s dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This encounter was <strong>a unique opportunity for the students<\/strong> to get an insider\u2019s view of a local undertaking and put into practice the skills they have acquired during their studies. During the first meeting, the engineer Pedrini explained in detail the professional profiles of Ocrim experts who might work alongside the students at the various Ocrim sites: from mechanical designer to electrical designer, from maintenance operator to testing technician, from member of the spare parts team to management and coordination roles, such as project manager or head of department. <strong>Working alongside the company\u2019s technicians and senior management<\/strong> is a great opportunity for young people interested in learning about the skills and expertise required on the job and discovering the dynamics of a highly specialised and innovative industrial context operating worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, which will continue with new meetings in the coming months, is part of a broader framework of initiatives that aim <strong>to reduce the gap between school education and the labour market<\/strong>, ensuring students a <strong>smoother transition into the world of work<\/strong>. With this collaboration, Ocrim confirms its commitment to supporting the new generations, offering them the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with a dynamic and international environment, stimulating their <strong>personal and professional growth<\/strong>.
