When we began thinking about how to celebrate our 80th anniversary, we found ourselves asking an unusual question:How do you turn a world of technology, engineering, training, international relationships and innovation into an experience that people can easily share and enjoy?<\/em>The answer came in the form of an idea that was as ambitious as it was original: creating a board game capable of telling the Ocrim story from a completely different perspective.That is how Ocrimopoly<\/strong> came to life.<\/p>\n

At first glance, it may look like a customized version of one of the world’s most famous board games. But a closer look at the board and its rules reveals something much deeper.Every element has been designed to reflect real aspects of life at Ocrim.Instead of traditional properties, players collect machines, grouped into different families. Success is not simply a matter of purchasing them. To grow, players must complete entire color sets, negotiate with competitors and invest strategically to increase their value. A game mechanic that mirrors the importance of planning, long-term vision and the ability to develop projects over time.One of the most distinctive spaces on the board is O|School.In the game, landing there means missing a turn. In real life, training has always been one of the most valuable tools for personal and professional growth. It is no coincidence that O|School earned a place on the board: it represents one of the core values of Ocrim’s culture and identity. <\/p>\n\n

Several companies that are part of our industrial ecosystem also become key players in the game. Dedicated spaces feature Bonifiche Ferraresi, Milling Hub, Paglierani and SIMA, each transformed into strategic assets within the match.Then there are the details that bring a smile to those who know our world well: Maintenance, with its unexpected challenges and overtime work; Production and Export Taxes; Electricity and Potable Water. Elements that playfully reflect realities familiar to anyone working in the agro-industrial sector.Yet the most interesting part is not playing the game itself.It is watching the reaction of someone opening the box for the first time.Almost immediately, players begin searching for familiar references: a space on the board, a company name, a rule, a hidden detail. It becomes a kind of treasure hunt through Ocrim’s history.Because Ocrimopoly is about more than a company.It is about the people who bring it to life every day.It reflects the ability to collaborate, invest, build relationships, overcome challenges and look ahead.In other words, it tells Ocrim’s story. Last year, we chose to celebrate our anniversary through a game.A different way of sharing a story that began in 1945 and continues to evolve today.And those who know us know that we are always looking for new ways to express who we are.This year, we are preparing something special once again.But that’s a story for another time. <\/p>\n
